Photography by Dan Boyce
Photography has been a life long hobby/obsession for me. I don’t remember a time when I didn’t take pictures, 70mm, 35, Polaroids, slide, black and white, the whole 9 yards. Heck I even shot some film, I think they called it 110 though why I don’t know, that came back from the developer looking more than anything like a viewmaster disk.
When digital cameras came out (my first was an Olympus 3040z 3.2 megapixel) I was really a happy camper! No more film or developing costs, I was FREE AT LAST!! My wife and I went out to San Francisco for a week and I came back with over 1,800 images.
Cost to develop images $0. Film cost $0. Lousy shots that were printed anyway 0. I am far from the most technically proficient photographer around, but I like to think I’ve a pretty good eye. Look at my images and decide for yourself.
I have more images, and some desktop wallpapers you might like, online at my Web site, The Quality of the Light.
These are pictures that I hope you’ll enjoy.
